Usually Yes.: Breast reduction surgery is one of the most patient pleasing operations performed in the field of plastic surgery. Age itself is not a contraindication. In my practice, i would ask that you see your family practitioner/internist for a medical evaluation prior to surgery. Generally speaking, the most common regret after this procedure is performed is: “i wish i had done it sooner". Best wishes.

Maybe: If you are in good health and cleared by your doctor, you might be an excellent candidate for breast reduction surgery. Many patients are happy after breast reduction surgery because of improvement in motion and exercise tolerance, and of course, less back and shoulder pain.

If you are healthy: If you are healthy and your surgeon feels that you can safely undergo general anesthesia, then typically yes, you can have a breast reduction at age 60. If you have multiple medical problems, however, this may not be the case.
