Mucinex DM & Tylenol (acetaminophen): Congestion can be treated with Pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine along with guaifenesin. Dextromethorphan can help as a cough suppressant. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe for aches and fever. Pregnant women should be careful of medication with multiple ingredients such as nyquil which is 10% alcohol which should be avoided in pregnancy.

Water: Your Friend: Water is your friend. Drink tea. Hover over your cup and breathe in the steam. 2 tablespoons of dark honey knocks down the cough. Nasal saline rinses unplug your nose naturally--the only side effect: you get wet! hope you feel better soon.
