Nasal steroids: Hormonal changes in pregnancy can cause nasal stuffiness even in those who are not allergic. The most common treatment is an inhaled nasal steroid spray such as fluticasone. Although most brands are pregnancy category "c" (officially not recommended), obstetricians frequently allow them because the dose absorbed by the mother is very small when taken nasally. Ask your doctor.
