Is it ok for me to take ibuprofen 600 and ambien (zolpidem) 5 mg together at night? i have troubled, disturbed sleep because of pain from a frozen shoulder.

Yes : You can definitely take together but you also might want to add Acetaminophen (tylenol (acetaminophen)) to the ibuprofen. I tell patients to take Ibuprofen 600 mg at meals three times daily and tylenol (acetaminophen) 1000mg between meals three times daily. The Ambien could be added at night if needed.
