Not enough info: Without more information it is difficult to give an opinion. You may also have both problems. You might consider seeing a specialist in TMJ diagnosis. See www.Aaop.Org or www.Aacfp.Org.

TMJ: Sounds like TMJ syndrome to me. Very often TMJ patients suffer from tinnitus. Ear ringing. Anatomically the joint is very close to the ear canal sea payed by a very thin piece of bone. So often people who have TMJ issues also have ear symptoms as well. Need to get a comprehensive dental exam with someone trained in this area. You can google the pankey institute and fine a dentist in your area.

TMJ - Jaw cracking: You seem to have a tmj/muscle dysfunction problem that is treated by a dentist. Select a dentist that routinely treats TMJ with functional orthopedic type appliances. Many dentist treat tmj, however only about 5% are really good at it since they routinely are familiar with several options in treatment.

TMJ or glue ear: Not sure what your symptoms are. You may have both. Clicking alone does not necessarily indicate TMJ syndrome. Tmj symptoms include pain, usually in the morning, pain on opening or chewing, chronic headaches or migraines. Glue ear, which is a middle ear infection, can be diagnosed by your medical doctor or ENT specialist.

Yes: Yes, can have both. I would make sure your've seen an ENT doc, and a TMj specialist to sort things out.
