Depends : If you have acute complication , like blood infection , inflamation of gall bladder , pancreas , after examination and blood test results , if it is not severe enough may be admitted , as acute emergency.

PROBABLY NOT: Gallbladder sludge is a collection of very small gallstones, almost granular in form, as gallstones all start as small flakes or granules. Unless there's evidence that you have passed some of this debris into the bile ducts, with resulting jaundice or pancreatitis, you'll probably be referred to a surgeon for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Keep a low fat diet to reduce symptoms.
