Depends : If you have acute complication , like blood infection , inflamation of gall bladder , pancreas , after examination and blood test results , if it is not severe enough may be admitted , as acute emergency.

Unless there's evidence that you have passed some of this debris into the bile ducts, with resulting jaundice or pancreatitis, you'll probably be referred to a surgeon for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Keep a low fat diet to reduce symptoms.
