Retest: If your period does not come at the predicted time, wait a few days and test yourself again. It sounds, however, as if anxiety over this issue may be occurring. This is a known inhibitor of pregnancy. The classic story is always the couple who finally adopt, and suddenly find out they are going to have one of their own.
