Go see your eye doc: In some cases of "pink eye"- viral conjunctivitis, patients can develop small defects on the surface of the cornea-the clear dome over the pupil of the eye. Eventually these will fade, but to be sure, have your eye doctor examine you to make sure there are no other complications.
