Please talk to: Your doctor for help getting off flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl). Stopping cold turkey can be hard, & possibly dangerous. Valerian probably won't help much, & it's safety isn't assured.

Yes you can: Valerian is a herbal compound that is "relaxing". Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is a "muscle relaxant" with properties of sedation or relaxation of the mind. You may safely stop Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) at any time (it is not addictive) and learn non-pharmacologic techniques to control muscle pain.
