A member asked:

Are auditory hallucinations normal when on flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) (muscle relaxers)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) side effect: Auditory hallucinations with Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) not typical. Most common are drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, and headache. "psychosis" - at least a symptom of which you are asking about - hs been reported in less than 1% of users. Note that both alcohol and ultram (frequently prescribed with Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) for pain associated with muscle spasms), can worsen or heighten the side effects.
