No: Tingling of the face is not one of the more common symptoms of tmj. I would suggest that you consult with your dentist to rule out any and all dental problems, and if this persists also see a physician to rule out any medical causes.

Numbness a concern: Numbness in the face presents a problem that i think and ENT or neurologist should see first. A tmj/tmd element, possibly, but a numbness can be from an infection (tooth, etc.) or another underlying issue.
