No difference: Except in gynecology, where females are the only patients; physicians are trained with both women+men, and we are taught to be objective in our approach toward patients. Gender has some bearing in the diagnosis that we consider, but not in our comfort in dealing with patients. In GI specialty, there should be no difference. Until recently, the majority of drs were men, and they treated both sex.
