Just don't touch: As long as you are not touching the patient (or touching anything that is in contact with the patient), you will not get an electrical shock. In fact, even if you are touching the patient, it's unlikely you will be shocked -- but better safe than sorry.

Aed distance: As long as you are not touching anything in contact with defibrillator or victim you are safe.
