Do antidepressants block all emotions or something?

Somewhat: Antidepressants provide a regulatory effects in the brain wherein they control depressive symptoms including depressed mood, low energy, interstate, motivation and low ability to enjoy activities as well as irritability. Patients sometime describe a feeling of "blah" months or years after use of the ssri's.. From my experience I have seen this only with the ssri's and not with other antidepress.

All -emotions?: well, if a person is used to being very anxious & they take antidepressants they feel like their senses are dulled because they are not used to the absence of significant anxiety. If a person has roller coaster emotions - that may dissipate. Although most people are pleased with decreased irritability or sadness- for some it is uncomfortable and unfamiliar.
