Depends: Camera port is usually in your belly button. Typically, up to 3 ports along your right rib cage. If appropriate, newer technique utilizes just one through your belly button if your surgeon is familiar with the approach.

Usually 4: There are usually 4 scars for a laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. One, hidden in the belly-button, and three other ones - one below your breast bone and 2 under your ribs on the right.
