Depends on cause: If you did not have symptoms of ADHD as a child, have not had a brain injury or infection, you do not have ADHD. Start with your doctor to determine if you have a disorder mimicing ADHD, like hyperthyroidism, anxiety disorder or depression. You can seek an evaluation with a neurologist or psychiatrist.
