Ask your surgeon: Your surgeon (or thier staff) is best able to answer questions about what you can and cannot eat after tonsillectomy.

Just not too hot: If you are able to eat/drink (swallow), then a cup warm-chocolate should be fine. The cup showed in picture here looks yummy--i am going to have one myself. Enjoy and good luck with your recovery.
