Not a solution.: 1. Bleeding. 2. Infection. 3. Loss of function. 4. Unhealthy coping mechanism. Whether one cuts to be able to get rid of a sense of emptiness or one cuts so that physical pain will outweigh emotional pain - it isn't a healthy way to cope. The sense of relief is fleeting and it doesn't solve the underlying problems. It is best to get help in this situation. Take care.
