Ouch!: Usually a gentle needler would sense your chi well before injuring a nerve. Nerve damage is a potential risk with acupuncture but in the hands of a good needler is not common. I would recommend evaluation by a more experienced acupuncturist to treat this injury. I am sorry that this happened to you.
