Pubic acne: Acne can occur anywhere where there are a lot of hair follicles and sweat or pressure. Acne in the pubic area may be treated just like regular acne with either topical antibiotics or cleanswers, or with oral antibiotics. The oral antibiotics (like doxycyline or minocin) are probably a little more effective in the groin area.
