Go to Dr.: What part of the arm? Prominent veins most of the time are not serious unless is only one arm and associated to swelling, pain or redness or caused by compression of masses in the thorax or axilla. If you exercise too much that arm increases in muscle size plus prominence of veins &may be normal. There is some concern about a possible clot in the deep veins, or arteriovenous fistula if unilateral.

Veins expand: It would be very unusual for normal veins on arms to rupture. See a phlebologist if you are concerned www.Phlebology.Org.
