A member asked:

What happens if you inject 25 units of air instead of insulin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No problem: Nothing will happen. That is a miniscule amount of air, and it goes into the subcutaneous space. Air injected directly into a vein can cause an air embolus, but even if you hit a vein, that tiny amount of air would not cause a problem.
