Yes: Hiv +ve mothers need to be on antiretroviral medication to reduce HIV viral load as low as possible, prolonged labor & breastfeed ing after birth should be avoided. This reduces risk down to about 1 - 2%. Prosective HIV +ve fathers can have their sperm washed (expensive) and partner can then be impregnanted by artificial insemination.
