Yes: You actually spread the infection around the pimple. Try spoon bathing. You tie some soft material around a spoon and dip it in boiiing water. Then hold the spoon near the pimple and allow the steam to percolate past the pimple. Do not touch the skin or the pimple with the hot spoon. This often draws the pus out witrhout any other treatment.
