Consult: The symptoms you describe make we wonder if you have a chronic post nasal drip and may have a chronic low grade sinus infection. If your cough is worse when you lie down and if it is bad tasting and if the mucus is discolored I am even more convinced. You may benefit from an appropriate course of antibiotics.. You may also have reflux. It may be time to see your physician.
