A member asked:

Do i need to take an acid reducer for the rest of my life after having a perforated ulcer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If your ulcer was a result of hyperacidity induced by infection with helicobacter pylori and you have been treated it may not be necessary to continue this therapy. Check with your GI doctor.
