Lipoma upper right arm and for the past two days i've been getting pain on the side of my arm but i also had a iv that went by heart port i think hurts?

Two different things: Lipoma is collection of fat in one area. Swelling secondary to starting an IV could represent hematoma, a collection of blood slowly oozing from iv. Both can be painful. Swelling from IV should go away in few weeks time.
