A member asked:

What does one take for minor sore throat ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pain relievers: You can try tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen for the pain. You can also gargle with warm, not hot, water with some salt dissolved in it (don't swallow it) . Try that as often as you want. Sometimes cold drinks help too. You can also try cough drops. If it lasts more than 4 days, or you get a fever of 101 or higher, see someone about it.
