Steven Johnson: Steven Johnson syndrome is a life threatening skin condition that is very rare - it usually begins with fever, fatigue and sore throat and can progress to global skin eruptions. With that being said - it would be highly unlikely for these symptoms to occur within a few hours. Symptoms typically develop over a period of days. Give yourself some time and your sore throat will likely abate.
