A member asked:

Can a woman suddenly start to bleed during menopause?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Menopause is defined as no period of 1 year. Many women go 10 months and then start to bleed which can be normal. If you have gone some time without bleeding, i recommend you see your gynecologist to confirm there are no other causes of bleeding. Other reasons can be change in meds, stress levels, weight changes and other hormonal changes.
