IV Sedate Dye XRay: Angiograms done for symptoms/complications of advanced arterial disease; brain, may be suspected aneurysm. Angiogram means blood picture; pictures show a 2d image, still or motion, of dye added into the blood, so that the dye/blood column shows on x-ray. Iv is inserted, sedatives injected, dye injected via catheter & x-ray pictures taken. (keep in mind artery ds is in artery walls & does not show).
