What are some diseases that cause hearing loss?

3 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

Too many to name: There are three different types of hearing loss- sensorineural, conductive and mixed. The causes of these losses may be congenital, inherited, or acquired. The best way to determine the cause of hearing loss would be to see your local ear, nose and throat doctor and have a hearing test.
