Not if its sugary: Sweetened beverages do not keep you hydrated, but unsweetened herbal infusions are a great way to keep hydrated.

Berry tea: A lot of diets say-- drink eight glasses of water a day. Realize one thing-- all liquids are water-based. Tea is nothing more than water with tea in it. It is, however, important that you keep up with your fluid intake, especially if you are on a high protein diet.
