Freckles are benign: Sunscreen (applied 30-60 minutes before sun exposure) and broad-brimmed hat should help prevent facial freckles. Sunscreen on exposed areas should help, too; long sleeves and pants will help protect much of body. Use of sunscreen is good idea just to prevent sun damage, premature skin aging, skin cancers.
