MRI: Yes, it is most important to see a neurologist to determine whether you have any worrying signs or symptoms of brain damage. If the neurologist identifies anything worrisome, an MRI may be useful to evaluate for signs of injury. Mri can detect even tiny amounts of bleeding or other damage to the brain tissue. Your doctor should be able to determine whether this is necessary.
