Post nasal drip: Usually not concerning but it sounds like post nasal drip. Try an over the counter sinus rinse and may some sudafed. If it doesn't get better talk your primary care md or ent.

Salty taste: Probably of no concern if you have no other symptoms. However, it is possible you could have infection in one of the deeper sinuses that causes drainage, and that is what you are tasting. If it persists another two or three days or if other symptoms develop sooner, see your doctor.
