Dehydration?: Usually the cause of vomiting in this age group is a virus that causes gastroenteritis. There are no medicines that can treat the virus. The main concern is to make sure the child does not get dehydrated. Taking very small sips of water frequently often is tolerated and can ward off dehydration.
