Yes: This isn't common but it certainly is possible. If you are referring to tmd symptoms after third molar extractions, sadly that is quite common and it is a consequence of jaw manipulation to actually get the third molars removed

Depends: If your wisdom teeth are still present, see your dentist / oral surgeon for a thorough evaluation. Sometimes, after the wisdom teeth are removed, a patient may develop TMJ symptoms due to opening very wide it is important to have your problem evaluated.

Possibly: The most likely scenario for a wisdom tooth to cause problems with the joint (tmd), would be the transitory inflammation of the joint and associated structures due to positional changes of the lower jaw to avoid the pain and swelling caused by an erupting lower wisdom tooth. The problem is usually termed periocoronitis, a localized infection of the soft tissue of the partially erupted tooth.

It's possible: The pain from your wisdom teeth may be causing you to clench or grind your teeth, often when sleeping. This compresses the jaw joint (TMJ) and causes damage to and dysfunction of it. Symptoms include pain, popping/clicking, and locking. However, there are many causes of clenching/grinding: stress, habit, uneven bite, and others. Your wisdom teeth may be a separate problem entirely. See a dentist.
