Should i see a doctor or dentist for tonsill stones?

Physician: I'd start there for issues relating to your tonsils. Don't be surprised if a referral to a dentist occurs though as there may be dental or orthodontic issues involved as well.

See a doctor: Your tonsils have nooks and crannies where debris, mucous, and dead cells can accumulate. Sometimes this debris can calcify and this would be tonsil stones. Sometimes you may have a sore throat or bad breathe. Small tonsil stones don't usually need treatment but if you have frequent stones with pain your doctor or ENT can evaluate your condition and treat this problem.
