Right tonsil swollen and a stone fell out. how long will it be swollen from the tonsil stone still? i've seen a doctor it's not infected, doesn't hurt

Cryptic tonsillitis: Even though there is no strep infection in the tonsils, it is likely that a short course of antibiotics and perhaps an anti-inflammatory such as prednisone may help with tonsil swelling. Alternatively, using mouthwash and ibuprofen may help. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonsillolith
