A 27-year-old male asked:
My doctor diagnosed acute bronchitis, prescribed azithromycin, prednisone and ventolin, is that normal and correct?

Yes: The Prednisone and ventolin are for wheezing. The causes for the bronchitis include viruses and bacteria. Azithromycin is a very good antibiotic for a bacterial cause of bronchitis.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
