I just ate something and my lips are now swollen. what could be wrong?

Food allergy: Could be angioedema (allergic reaction). Take a benadryl, (diphenhydramine) see doctor if getting bigger, or tonge gets bigger. Call 911 if tonge or inside of mouth are swollen or feel short of breath.
