Pad or tampon: Unless you tend to have really severe cramps - having your period should not mean that you need to miss out on the fun & exercise of gymnastics. If you have used tampons before - that is a good option. A pad can also be used. If you are only wearing a leotard - than a slightly thinner pad would probably be helpful. A thicker pad is fine if you will be wearing shorts. Take care.
