Difficult to say...,: Without examining it. Could be tendinitis (inflamed tendon), a problem w/ a meniscus, arthritis, etc. Try putting an ice pack (over a towel to protect the skin) on it for 20 mins 3 times a day. You can also take Ibuprofen as directed if no contraindications. But if it doesn't get better in a week or so, get it checked by a doctor.
