Food Yes, Sup. No.: Key here is “proven”. While several things are marketed, there are no large clinical trials to evaluate safety & efficacy. Even the rx agents for dementia & Alzheimer's ds are too ineffective to see benefit on an individual basis; evidence only within comparative testing between placebo vs. Tx groups. Currently, brain function too complex, understanding too limited. Slightly better evid. About foods.

Not really, but: We do have some knowledge of aging, and when we get older, brain levels of both folate (folic acid) and Cyanocobalamin drop, along with our ability to control oxidative events. So, theoretically the medical food cerefolin-nac, might provide some brain support. Also, might focus on diet, exercise, lack of smoking, and general good health, as this may return dividends in your 70's and 80's.
