No: Depending on how impacted they are and how much surgery it takes to remove them will depend on how much discomfort you will have after the procedure. It also depends on how your body heals and how experienced the surgeon is removing them. Depends: The extraction of a third molar or wisdom tooth is really not a horrible experience. However, the recovery period could be painful depending upon the severity of the impacted tooth or teeth. I would discuss this with your treating doctor to give you an idea about the condition of the teeth and their position in your mouth.
