I was just diagnosed with thyroid nodules! is this serious? what can i do?

Follow-up: If you have not had one then i would have a thyroid ultrasound performed. Any nodule 1 cm or greater in size should biopsied. Be sure to have your thyroid hormone blood levels checked as well.
