Why does my left breast hurts?

Variety of reasons: Do both breasts hurt with the left one feeling worse or only your left breast? It could be due to direct trauma (do you sleep on your left side?), more dense tissue (is your left breast larger than your right breast?) or an infection. Go in for an evaluation if it doesn't improve.
