Doctor can evaluate: A hair loss specialist (a hair restoration specialist) or a dermatologist can evaluate to see if there is an underlying medical condition for one's hair loss. If no illness if found, and the hair loss is male-pattern hair loss in a male, it might be normal for that person. In such a situation, the hair restoration specialist may suggest some solutions to minimize the appearance of thinning hair.
