UTI Infection: This is a difficult question to answer because i don't know if a urine culture was taken before you started treatment and because you did not indicate what antibiotic you are taking. I would suggest you check with your physician to order a urine culture and sensitivity . That way the most appropriate antibiotic can be prescribed.

Get urine culture: You can get a urine culture to see if the bacteria in your urine are sensitive to the antibiotics you received. If they aren't, then you can be switched to another.
